The Bard At The Big Rock
A Production of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing,
As Presented by The Foothills Fine Arts School Drama Students, Okotoks, Alberta.
Here's the Whole Cast in Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing out at The Big Rock.
Note from Ailsa: I put this page together for my Daughter, Cara (who is now 17 and almost finished High School -- the School for Fine Arts in Okotoks, Alberta, Canada). The Students put on a great play every summer (and other plays throughout the year, but the Shakespearean Plays tend to be in the summer at The Big Rock, which is, literally, a Great Big Rock that had been left behind in the Ice Age... I'm guessing!).
The Performances run through to Sunday, July 18th, at 2:00 and 7:00 pm.
Go through Okotoks to HWY #7, straight West toward the Mountains.
There's a gorgeous Log Home at the Top of the Hill, then Whammo, you're at The Big Rock!
Bring your Own Chair or Blanket, and some Sunscreen! And a Hat!

Cara, my 16 year old daughter, is plays the Part of Margaret in Much Ado About Nothing. (Cara is wearing the lovely Green Dress...)

Doesn't this look like yer typical Prairie Couple? That's Cara and Aidan, and Cara's friend, Kyla, dressed up as Messenger # 1!
And there's a big field for the kids to run around in during the play, too! That's how Aidan entertained himself for a good portion of the Play!

This is the Wedding Scene, since this Play is all about Requited Love, which is the best kind of Love, to be sure! ha,ha!
