Art for Your Home (or Office!)

There's nothing better than a great piece of Art to change or enhance your Space. I have some lovely pieces in our home, and they really finish off the rooms. You can choose your Artwork by the colors in your home, or, the way I choose everything we have, just whatever you happen to like!

Now here's a funny thing about one of my favorite pieces in the house, a Stephenson Print in a really beautiful Frame. I made it myself when I was pregnant with Aidan, bought the Print and held onto it until I found the right frame. Well, Dwight had a Print (Limited Edition) of the Starfire Plane, I think it was called, but I didn't like it, so one day I switched the Plane picture for my beautiful Landscape. I'll see if I can find a link for that specific picture as soon as I find it!

Anyway, after we had already been in the house for about 6 months, I was gazing into this picture one day, and realized that every color in this house was reflected in the Print. Greens, Taupes, Blues... so funny. I must have had those colors in my head when I was decorating! And then, after a very heavy rain, I was looking out the window in Aidan's Bedroom and there was the exact view in the Print! The road was covered in water, so it looked like a River. With all the beautiful Trees all around our Property, that was the Scene I've been looking at and loving for years! Art -- it's good for your Soul!
